Tell me what you want, what you really, really want!
Twice a year I’m asked what I would like for my birthday and Christmas. I have trouble recalling the things that have taken my fancy. So, I’ve decided to record them here for those who are interested. You will hopefully find something in your price range. If not, don’t worry, I like suprises – provided they come across my spectrum of interests.
One thing I do own up to – I have expensive tastes. However, don’t feel obliged to satisfy them. Some of the things listed here are wishes and, like some wishes, they may not come true. Sometimes it’s good to dream – as long as it doesn’t become obsessive.

- Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip Heath and Dan Heath
- Or any other good thrillers (please, no Agatha Christie or Poirot!)
- Any book of beautiful photographs – Landscapes, urban landscapes, wildlife and people.
- Books on the subject of digital SLR photography, especially Photoshop.

- Music by Ray LaMontagne (I’ve already got ‘Trouble’).
