Recently, I’ve been challenged about forgiveness. It’s been a very difficult time for Carla and me over the past four months or so. We’ve been quite hurt through relationships with other folk going awry. The temptation has been to take that hurt and turn it into resentment. A temptation that at times I succumed to.
However, God and a few faithful friends have been on our case. We are working through forgiveness – despite it not being reciprocated at times. It takes a daily concious effort to refuse the thoughts and welling emotions, but it’s worth it. The healing is good.
I came across this website today. It’s not sponsored by any religious or political persuasion. The stories are very moving. It’s worth a look.
On another note, your prayers for Carla would be appreciated. She heard last Monday(13th) that she’s to be made redundant at the end of the month. We need an answer to prayer as her income is vital and not just an ‘optional extra’.
